Sharing a post for approval
Have your posts reviewed before they go out: the “Needs approval” mode, the Approvals tab and the public share link.
Sofia has two ways to get a post approved: the “Needs approval” mode, which holds every post until it is approved, and the share link, which shows a post to someone who has no access to Sofia.

- A read-only public preview of the post, at the address
/p/{token}. - No Sofia account is needed to open it.
- Nothing else from your establishment: the link opens this post, not your workspace.
To create the link, use “Share link” on the post’s card. “Turn off link” cuts it when you no longer need it.
The “Needs approval” mode
In Sofia’s settings (and at the “Control” step of the guided welcome), choose the control level: “Automatic” (Sofia publishes without waiting) or “Needs approval” (you approve each plan and each post). Each campaign also has its own “Control level”.
Collecting feedback
With “Needs approval”, a review looks like this:
- 1. Posts arrive to review. They carry the “To review” status and are found in the “Approvals” tab of the list of posts. Home shows how many are waiting.
- 2. Review them. Open a post’s preview: Summary, Preview and Figures tabs.
- 3. Approve. “Approve” (or “Approve as is” from the calendar preview) schedules it. A post that needs a visual can only be approved with one.
- 4. Or fix. “Edit” reopens the composer; approve afterwards.
A practical pattern for getting reviews
- Set the establishment (or a campaign) to “Needs approval”.
- Let Sofia or your team prepare the posts.
- For an outside opinion, share a post’s link with the person concerned.
- Approve the posts in the “Approvals” tab.
Limits worth knowing
- A share link is public: anyone who has it can see the preview. Turn it off when the review is over.
- The link shows a post read-only; approval happens in Sofia, by a member of the establishment.
- Members of an establishment review and approve; see Team for roles.
