Finding your way around

What each section of the app is for, where to find the features that are not pages, and what you cannot see by default.

Sofia puts a lot behind a short menu, and several of the most used features are windows rather than pages. Here is the map.

The top of the menu and the user menu

  • Establishment selector (“Switch establishment”), at the top of the menu: it lists your establishments with your role in each, and offers “New establishment”.
  • Search: the ⌘K shortcut searches for a post, a campaign or a media file, anywhere in the app.
  • User menu: the account, the appearance (Light, Dark or System), the settings, the subscription and billing, apps and integrations, the API, “What’s new”, the “Help center” and the mobile apps.

What is not a page

These are the features people most often look for without finding them, because they are windows or panels rather than menu entries.

The settings sections

The settings are arranged in four families: Account, Establishment, Features and Community. The “Search settings” field takes you straight to each one.

EstablishmentSocial networks, the control mode (Sofia section), the brand signature, members, the subscription and billing

Times and time zones

Sofia displays and schedules times in the establishment’s time zone, set in its profile: Sofia infers it from your address (“Inferred, to confirm”) then you confirm it (“Confirmed”). It decides the actual time of your slots and posts.

If you choose another time zone in the composer, Sofia asks for the scope of the change: “This network” changes only that card, “The whole establishment” changes the establishment’s time zone for all your posts. Keep this in mind when you work for a client in another time zone.
