Connect a network
Authorize Sofia on a network through its official flow, what each one asks for, and what to do when the connection fails.

A connected account is a social network account linked to Sofia. Everything else, the calendar, the composer, the results, relies on it: it is the first thing to do.
Only one way to connect
Today, Sofia publishes on Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and LinkedIn. Whatever the network, the connection follows the same official flow, and you never give your password to Sofia.
- Click “Connect a network” and choose the network.
- Read the consent page. Sofia tells you what she will be able to do and what the network asks for.
- Authorize on the network’s page. You are redirected to the network’s official page, where you give your approval.
- Come back to Sofia. The account appears in “Social networks”.
What each network asks for

Preparing without a connected account
You can prepare a post before connecting a network: the composer shows that network as “Not connected” and offers to connect it before sending. To work together without sharing access, see Establishments and team.
After connecting
The account appears in “Social networks”, with its card: posts from the last 28 days, followers, engagement. Two things to know:
- A status other than “Active” needs your attention: “Token expired”, “Error” or “Permission missing”. The menu shows how many accounts need reconnecting, see Manage a network.
- “Paused” means the network is temporarily closed in Sofia: your scheduled posts wait.
When the connection fails
The network is grayed out or missing
A network marked “Soon” is not open yet. It will open as soon as it is ready.
The account must be professional and linked to a Facebook Page. Switch it to a professional account in Instagram, then reconnect.
You must administer the Page. Ask its administrator for that role, then reconnect.
“Permission missing”
The account is linked without the right to publish. Click “Reconnect” and accept all the permissions requested.
“Token expired”
The network ended the access, often after a password change. Reconnect the account.
The network refused the connection
If the network refuses the connection, Sofia says the problem comes from her and not from your account: try again a little later. The detail of each error is in Network connection errors.
