Usual slots
Set the times when each account usually publishes, and see what Sofia does with them when you schedule a post.
Where: “Social networks” menu, account card, “Slots”
A usual slot is a time at which an account usually publishes. Slots are set per account: your Facebook and your Instagram can each have their own times.
Setting them
- Open the editor. On the account’s card, “Slots”. The “Usual slots” window opens for that network.
- Add a slot. Choose the time with “Add an hour”, then “Add”.
- Save. “Save”. Nothing is taken into account before that.
To delete a slot, remove it from the list. An account without slots shows “No slots yet”: that is valid, you only lose the conveniences below.
What slots control
Slots are a guide, not a constraint. You can always schedule a post at another time. They serve three purposes:
- Scheduling. When you schedule, Sofia offers these times first.
- The “No date” tray. A post without a date is scheduled at the “Next usual slot for this network”.
- Campaigns. Sofia sets the time of each post in a plan on one of the account’s declared slots, at least one hour from another post.
Time zones
Slots follow the establishment’s time zone, set in its profile. It decides the actual time of each slot.
If you work for a client in another time zone, set the establishment’s time zone accordingly. In the composer, choosing another time zone asks for the scope of the change: “This network” changes only that card, “The whole establishment” changes the time zone for all your posts.
